“This project was really more like building a museum or art gallery rather than a car dealership,” said Holsbeke. Cadillac’s new “boneline” façade design and the buildings’ architecture is meant to convey sophistication, quality and intimacy of scale. Everything about coming to this dealership, whether it be for a new vehicle, service or used vehicle purchase, will be unlike any other dealership experience.
Project manager, Roy Card, stated “that even in an economy facing labor and material constraints, the job went smoothly.” The new facility is slated to be finished in the spring, but one look at the exterior of this state-of-the-art Cadillac dealership will leave you wanting more. The Cadillac dealership will occupy a 31,800 square-foot building that will include a concierge, customer lounge, refreshment area, runway style showroom as well as a certified service area with 32 service bays, according to a concept plan. Holsbeke said his team has been amazed at the absolute attention to the smallest detail the project has been given. It truly makes this a one-of-a-kind experience.
“The lighting, fabric, finishes, furniture, and staging have all been coordinated in such a way to make this a real pleasure when shopping for and purchasing your new Cadillac,” said Holsbeke. “The exterior is clad in stainless steel with adjustable display area lighting made from thousands of separate LED bulbs. The museum display style showroom features all of the latest Cadillac models available to view in the comfort of fully efficient climate controlled building. It has been the most demanding but rewarding project our company has been involved in. I am certainly proud of the multitude of skills my team has showcased throughout this project.”
When finished, the new dealership will not only boast a fully renovated showroom, offices, and service center, but the lot itself and lighting will be reconfigured to allow customers to view all available Cadillac models with ease.
